The US welcomed the new year with yet another grim milestone. The US Gross Federal Debt has crossed $34.0 Trillion (or) $34,000,000,000,000. This number is “meaningless” for many people as the number is so huge its impossible to comprehend. Some may say “who cares”. They might as well run it to $100 Trillion. In an ideal world, the state and policymakers would draw up plans to reduce this debt mountain.
