Came across an interesting Singapore fact posted at The Marginal Revolution blog. In 2016, Singapore police reported 135 total days without any crimes. Comparing crimes between the island country of Singapore and the US would be a fascinating exercise. Incidentally, murders in New York city last year declined to under 300, one of the lowest in decades.
