Recently I wrote an article on high yielding natural gas stocks. In this post let me list the top 15 natural gas utilities in the world for 2009. This list is based on rankings by the energy consultancy PFC Energy.

Some of the utilities shown above are multi-utilities. For example, E.ON of Germany is both a natural gas and electricity utility. E.ONÂ has operations in many countries including Germany, the UK, US, France, Denmark, etc. Petronas Gas is a division of Petronas oil company of Malaysia. The famous Petronas tower in Kuala Lumpur was built by Petronas as a monument to showcase Malaysia’s growth.
